Our
Mission
To
assist in the rescue, rehabilitation and placement
of unwanted Golden Retrievers, Labrador Retrievers,
Chesapeake Bay Retrievers, Flat Coated Retrievers
and Curly Coated Retrievers, by placing them in
homes through fostering, adoption and referral.
In addition, we strive to provide public education
regarding all Retrievers and to promote responsible
ownership and the humane treatment of all dogs.
We are comprised solely of volunteers and we rely
on fund raising and donations to support all rescue
efforts including veterinary care. 100% of all donations
are used towards the care of rescued retrievers. Our
volunteers have full-time jobs, their own family responsibilities,
and their own pets. They donate whatever little time
they have to assist OCC: All Retriever Rescue.
We cannot rescue them all due to a lack of foster
homes & funds, but we try extremely hard. It breaks
the hearts of our volunteers, who love these breeds
so much, to know that we may have lost one that needed
us. Please consider adopting, volunteering or donating
to this wonderful cause. Every bit helps in the lives
of these animals.
